And it's Monday already....

I know I say this just about every week, but why do the weekends go so fast? It's just not fair!!! We really need to start having 3 day weekends and 4 day work weeks. How about starting a petition? Haha.

We had another great weekend.... Although we spent lots of time around the house we still had fun. Friday night we headed over to Dana & Doug's for Fondue night, it was soo yummy as always! Payten got to meet Shadow for the first time. That is a really big doggie compared to Corgy & Roxy, haha. But of course Payten loved her! Saturday morning we headed out early to redeem our free breakfast from ChickAFila, then ran to a few stores. Sean did lots of yard work while I laid by the pool.. :-) A pregnant girl can't be shoveling rocks in this heat, :-) I am going to milk this pregnant thing as much as I can since this will be the last time I can use it to my advantage. :-) After Sean finished up in the back yard we headed out for some dinner and ice cream. As you can tell I was in a "non" cooking kind of mood. :-) And yesterday was our typical Sunday, house work and relaxing.

Another weekend is gone.... and another work week has begun... I am hoping this one goes by fast because our "gender" ultrasound is Saturday morning. We can't wait! Have a great week!

Sick baby girl!

Not such a Happy 14 months for Payten today.. :-( Sean took her to the doctor this morning and she has a ear infection in both ears. :-( Looks like we will be spending the weekend around the house getting her back to normal. The little peanut is still not 20 lbs, she weighs 19lbs 10 oz. We are hoping she feels better soon!

Have a great weekend!

Happy 14 Months Payten!!!

I still can't believe my little peanut is 14 months already! It feels like yesterday when we were bringing you home for the first time. A lot sure has changed since then. The above picture was taken at 6 months old and you were just starting to crawl. You weighed 15 lbs 6oz and 25 1/2 inches long!
And how much you have changed month to month is just incredible. You learn new things every day and never seem to surprise Daddy & I with all the new things are you learning. I think the first "Hi" in the morning melts our hearts every morning. In the picture above you were 8 months old and weighed 17lbs 11oz, 27 inches long. By this time you had mastered crawling. :-)
And now at 14 months you are more fun then ever. Running all over the place, racing us up the stairs... and the best was at the beach when you were running all around saying "Hi" to everyone with your little yellow bucket in your hand. Happy 14 months baby girl!!!

Bathtime Fun!!

Even in the mist of being sick. Payten is never too sick to play in the bathtub. Sean figured since she wasn't feeling too well he would let her play with all the bath toys. She was so overwhelmed she didn't even know where to start! But don't worry she played with every single toy in that tub!
And of course after quite some time in the tub, it was night night time... and she sure did fall asleep very quick!

Is it Friday yet??

This week feels like the never ending week..... I think because I am looking forward to our weekend at the beach so its making the days feel longer. :-( Payten has a little bit of a cold. Not sure where she got it from. But she woke up this morning with a runny nose and a slight fever. By lunch time the fever was gone so I am hoping her runny nose will disappear soon too!

Our week has been pretty uneventful so far. Sean has been working on the backyard project. And we found out some not so good news about it. He finally measured to see how much sod we need, and WOW 7 palettes! That's about $900 or so. So needless to say we will be doing a little at a time. We will work on the swing set area and planting the plants and flowers and slowly work into replacing the sod. This winter really killed everything in our yard and we are truly paying for it now. :-( The joys of being a homeowner... :-)

Well it's almost the weekend, WOO HOO! Have a great one everyone!

Happy Birthday Grandma Hogan!

Happy Birthday Grandma Hogan!!!

Hope you have a great day!!

Why we love the weekends....

Well another great weekend has past. The weather has been absolutely gorgeous here. Not too hot, and just beautiful. I just wish this weather would last, but it won't be long until it's sweltering hot... :-(

Payten and I joined some girlfriends and their kiddies for a nice lunch at BJ's Brewhouse on Saturday afternoon. I had my favorite chicken salad! Yum! And then we headed over to the mall, to get a cookie from Mrs. Field's and let the kiddies play in the play area. Here is a picture of Payten and I after our yummy lunch!

Sunday was our usual house work/yard work day. As I worked on the stuff on the inside, Sean was outside ripping up the backyard. Since the winter ruined everything in the yard including the grass it has left us no choice but to start over. Although its taken me weeks to come to terms with this, as we were working outside so we're lots of our neighbors. So it's nice to know that we are not alone in this expensive and time consuming project.. :-( Since we are starting over, we have decided to order Payten a swing set, and make the backyard a little more kid friendly. The swing set is ordered and is expected to arrive next Tuesday. So needless to say there is a lot of work that needs to be done in a short amount of time. But I have no doubt that Sean will have it all done, because once he has his mind set to something he doesn't stop until its done. Stay tuned to the final result of the backyard! Hope everyone has a great week!

TGIF!

It's finally FRIDAY! We made it! What a crazy week! But so glad the weekend is almost here. Payten and I are looking forward to our girls lunch tomorrow afternoon and some shopping... while Daddy (Sean) starts to rip up the backyard so we can put in Payten's new swing set. :-)

The weather has been beautiful here the past few days. Now if the pool would only warm up.... :-( I guess we might have to cave soon and buy a heater. But still trying to make a decision between electric and solar.... Decisions, decisions.

Miss Payten is quite the character these days. She absolutely loves to dance. Her favorite song is "Single Ladies" by Beyonce, HAHA. As soon as it comes on she starts jamming. It's absoutely hysterical!

We hope everyone has a great weekend! Hope you are all having great weather like us. :-)

Update on New Baby!

I had my monthly doctors visit yesterday. Which also included an NT Scan. For some of you that don't know that is.... This prenatal test (also called the NT or nuchal fold scan) can help your healthcare practitioner assess your baby's risk of having Down syndrome (DS) and some other chromosomal abnormalities as well as major congenital heart problems. The NT test uses ultrasound to measure the clear (translucent) space in the tissue at the back of your developing baby's neck. Babies with abnormalities tend to accumulate more fluid at the back of their neck during the first trimester, causing this clear space to be larger than average.

Everything looked great from the ultrasound now we just have to wait for the results from the bloodwork. It was so great to see the little peanut jumping all over the place. What a huge change from our last ultrasound. The baby is actually measuring bigger, so they have bumped my due date up to October 24th. However since I will be having a c-section I will be having the baby sooner. Right now my tentative date is October 22nd but if the baby continues to grow as well it might be moved up to either the 18th or 20th. :-)

Of course you are all dying to know if we are finding out the sex of the baby, and YES we are! The planners that Sean and I are its hard not to. Plus since we have so much "pink" we might have to do some re-arranging :-) Our gender determination ultrasound is tenatively scheduled for May 2nd (both Sean & I's guess is GIRL, so we'll see if we're right). I will be sure to keep everyone posted. In the meantime here are a few new pics of the little peanut.

Payten sure loves her tubby time!!

Easter Weekend

We didn't have your typical Easter Sunday but that is the advantage of living in Florida. We headed down to Mom & Dad Bachur's on Saturday, spent Saturday and Sunday at the beach. Payten had a blast and was running around everywhere. I am still shocked at how good she was. Looks like we will be making lots of more trips to the beach this summer. :-)Before heading to the beach we had lunch of course and Payten though she would be funny like her Dad and make funny faces while I was trying to get her picture. She is such a mini Sean! She was hytersical carrying her bucket all around the beach. She is a little flirt I tell ya. She was saying Hi to every person that walked by her. We are in big trouble when she gets older!
Payten made out like a bandit for the Easter bunny! She had so much she didn't even know where to start. But her new Crayola stampers are her favorite. Thank you Aunt Jane for her adorable Hello Kitty basket!
Payten on Easter Sunday! We said heck with the Easter dress and went right for the bathing suit. :-) She had a blast playing on the beach with her Auntie Tracy, grandparents, and great aunts & uncles.

I hope everyone has a great week! I will be suer to post tomorrow after returning from my ultrasound. Can't wait to see how much this little peanut has grown. :-) Happy Monday!

I love Sundays!

I figured its been a while since I actually wrote what was going on here in this crazy household. Sometimes I don't know whether we are coming or going here. But hey we always have lots of excitement. :-)

We had a great weekend! But they sure do go by fast! Saturday we headed over to the Millenia Mall, Payten got to visit the Easter bunny, and absolutely loved him. She would have sat in his lap all day. Sean had to pry her away from him. She was too cute. After that we had some lunch and did a little shopping. Then we headed over to the Cheesecake Factory (my fav) and met Dana & Doug there. We had some yummy dinner and the best part was dessert of course. I am still dreaming of that piece of cheesecake.. Haha. The littlest things excite me. :-) Today we played catch up on house work and the never ending laundry piles. I have been spending the day preparing for my crazy week ahead of me. I will be going into work this week for my bi-annual rotation but although it will be a long, crazy week... I am actually looking forward to some adult conversations during the day. I certainly love working from home but it has its downfalls as anything does.

Well let's see what is new with Payten.... Our little peanut turned 13 months last week. I just can't believe how fast time is flying by. It feels like we just celebrated her 1st birthday. She has been trying lots of new foods. And we are almost done with bottles. YAY! She is loving the sippy cup, thank goodness. Now we if we can kick the pacifer habit. But I am afraid that is one thing that is going to take a while. That's okay though, one thing at a time. No more crawling for her, she walks everywhere! She is a speed demen going up the stairs. I think she is even faster then Sean & I, haha. We are looking forward to next weekend at Mema & Poppy's house and spending some time in the pool (heated pool) and the beach.
This is picture is from Payten's trip to the beach a few weeks ago!

As for baby #2, I am going into my 12th week, the first trimesr is almost over, thank goodness! I will be going next week for my monthly check up. I will be having the genetic testing done, an ultrasound is included so we are excited to see our little bean again. I will be sure to post pictures. :-)

Well just in case it gets real crazy this week. I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter! Wish we could all be together to spend it together but we will be thinking of everyone. Have a great week!

My little pasta eater!!

Payten tried pasta for the first time the other day and I think its safe to say she loves it! But what a mess it makes. This whole eating "real" food is great but the mess kills me. I just guess I have to get over it! Happy Thursday!! Thank goodness its almost the weekend!
