Oh Monday!

Oh Monday how I despise you!  That means its time for another busy week :-(.

We had a fun weekend and sad that it came to an end.  Friday night was a low key night at home, just what we needed after a busy week.  Saturday morning we were up early for our day at Magic Kingdom.  Thanks to our awesome friends for getting us in.  We started our day at the park at 9a and headed back to our cars at around 6p.  We were planning on staying for the fireworks but the kids were fading.  It's a long day for them.  The park wasn't packed at all so we did a ton of stuff!  My favorite part was meeting the interactive Mickey Mouse.  It was so cool to hear Mickey talk and interact with the kids.  Camryn was a little hesitant on it but Payten just ate it up.  We went on a ton of rides and saw the Princesses as well {the girls LOVE that}.

First Cheer Game & Weekend

So things have been crazy around here which is why I haven't posted lately. With school being back in session, the girls after school activities, homework, my side business, oh yea working full time, and taking care of things around the house I just haven't found the time to squeeze in blogging.  :-(  I am thinking about maybe doing a weekly post until things ease up a bit around here.  So we'll see!

This past weekend Payten had her first football game to cheer for.  It was insanely HOT!  I swear we lost several pounds from how much we were sweating.  I thought there was cooler weather during football season, oh that's right we live in Florida.  Haha.  Payten had a blast cheering, well except for the heat part. This wasn't an actual "season" but more of a kick off practice to the real season.  This weekend is our first "real" game and its a home one too, woo hoo.  I am just hoping its a little cooler out, doubt it but a girl can hope right?!
The rest of the weaken we laid low.  Worked on a few house projects.  Well mainly the playroom project.Which is coming around slowly but surely.  Hoping to have it finished sometime next week!  Ha funny, I know!  But for now this is what it looks like. . .

Beach side

We got to spend our entire weekend beach side! Totally what we needed! The weather was beautiful!  The rain stayed away, thank goodness. The girls had a blast, as always since the beach is one of their favorite places!

Uneventful

Our weekend was just that, uneventful.  It rained pretty much all weekend and when it wasn't raining it was overcast. Totally ruined our plans for a few outside activities :-(.

Since I was stuck indoors why not organize a few closets.... I made it through several drawers in the kitchen, that literally everyone kept just putting stuff in.  Drives me nuts!  I even managed to tackle the girls never ending totes of clothes!  It took two days but its complete, woo hoo!
We ventured out Saturday night, even though it was down pouring but Payten begged us to go out to dinner. I was all about ordering in but she insisted on going somewhere.  So off to Red Robin we went, her pick too! Love that place!  It's sooo good!
I figured since we were stuck in the house I would make the best of my time. I worked on a few projects for Camryn's birthday party. Everything is turning out great so far, but my list is still a mile long. But I can't wait to see how everything turns out when its all put together!
We have been breaking out the games lately, the girls newest fav is Monopoly Jr.  Its really fun and easy for them to follow along.

Weekend Recap

Our weekend was pretty low key.  Friday night we had pizza and movie night at home.  We watched Despicable Me {the girls choice} and chowed some on some yummy pizza!

Saturday we had some pool fun with the Ellison clan.  They came back to our house for a little BBQ and we got to hang out.
Today, Payten & Camryn had a playdate with their friend Peighton at our house.  So we spent the day hanging out at home.  It was a nice weekend but sad to see it come to an end already :-(
Camryn got sent to time out today and she thought it would be a perfect time to take a nap.... ahhh this kid I tell ya!

This weekend

Friday night I had my monthly Bunco night with the girls.  It was much needed after this crazy week!  Of course I didn't win, never do, but that's okay because all the laughs make losing so much better. Haha.

Saturday we had planned on going to Aquatica but the weather was horrid.  Rainy and icky all day.  So we decided to take the girls to the movies to see Monsters University.  Payten has been begging me since it came out and since we didn't have any other plans why not.  Once I got there, paid for the tickets and snacks (nothing crazy either), I was $50 deep.... ehhh!  Why are the movies so expensive?!  Of course it was totally worth it because the girls loved it and it was a really cute movie.

After the movie we came home and hung out.  I started to pack for our trip.  Did I ever say how much I loathe packing?  Ugh!  It feels like its never ending and no matter how hard I try not too pack too much its just so hard not to.  Especially when traveling with kids!  I was in bed pretty early since I had to work yesterday.  It was a pretty quite weekend but sometimes we need one of those!

Fun Weekend!

How is it Monday already?!  The weekend just FLEW by!  It definitely was a busy one.  But a ton of fun!

Friday night I went to the NKOTB - Package tour with my girlfriend Lena.  We had an absolute blast!  We had awesome seats in the presidential suite.  It was so awesome reliving our "younger" years.  Boyz II Men and NKOTB put on an amazing concert!  Both groups are AMAZING preformers.  98 degrees was also featured in this concert and I can honestly say I was a bit disappointed.  Of course Nick Lachey was amazing but as a group I was not impressed.  :-(  I hope they decide to do a your like this again SOON!
Soooo excited!!
After my late night out on Friday.  It was an early morning with my girls since my hubby had to work Saturday.  So we started our morning off with breakfast at ChickFilA and running a few errands.  We were back home by noon for some lunch and even squeezed in a nap, ahhh yes my favorite part of the weekend, haha.  The girls went with their Dad to a friends house to watch the hockey game, while the mom's enjoyed a night of shopping.
Sunday we met up with some friends for some fun at Aquatica.  It was a blast, well until the storm started to roll in about 2p and then we were booking it through the parking lot.
