Beach Weekend

Before heading back to the reality we decided we enjoy some downtown at the beach.  The girls had a blast at the beach.  And it was nice to just relax all weekend.  I sure hope we get another weekend like that before the cooler weather heads in!

We got to spend our entire weekend beach side! Totally what we needed! The weather was beautiful!  The rain stayed away, thank goodness. The girls had a blast, as always since the beach is one of their favorite places!

Lately

I feel like I have so much to catch up on.  I still have one more day to blog about from our vacation.  Tomorrow it will be posted, I hope :-).  Last weekend we had a fun beach day.  We headed to Cocoa Beach for the day with some of our friends.  The girls had a blast playing with their friends.  The weather was gorgeous!  Perfect breeze too so it wasn't too too hot!

Sunday morning I headed out to Tennessee to see my sister and meet my new little niece.  My flight was early so I arrived in Tennessee by 10a.  Not too bad since I had a connecting flight.  I had so much fun hanging out with my sister and niece.  It was so great to be able to spend quality time with them.  But leaving sure was hard.  :-(

While I was gone, the girls had a fun time with their daddy.  They even went to Disney!  Lucky girls!  They had an absolute blast.  As you can see from the pictures.  Now I am hoping I can get there again soon with them so I see all of those priceless smiles in person :-)

Beach fun!

We needed a change of pace.  So we decided to head to Cocoa Beach on Saturday.  The girls LOVE the beach.  Its one place we can go and there won't be any bickering back and forth.  We got to hang out for a few hours and enjoy some fun in the sun.  It was much needed!!!

Lots going on in the Hogan household these days.  We are looking forward to the new school year starting on Monday!  Back packs are packed, clothes are picked out, and the girls are SUPER excited!!!  It will Payten's first day of VPK!  I still can't believe it! 

Dance will be starting up, as well as soccer.  It will be a very busy fall season for us!!  And of course the birthday parties are starting to fill our calendar for the rest of the year as well!

As you can tell I am in a blogging rut.  But I am sure it will pass, as it usually does.  In the meantime I am going to enjoy the last few days of summer with my girls! :-)

Weekend - Part 2

It's Thursday already and I am finally getting to post the rest of the pictures from our weekend!!!  It's been a busy week around here, still playing catch up from the weekend!

Saturday we enjoyed a nice day at the beach.  The kids had so much fun!  They spent most of there time in the water.  They were like little fish!  Luckily there Dad's love the water too because there were in there the entire time with them :-)

After our fun day at the beach with the kiddies.... the adults got to enjoy a night out ALONE, thanks to LeeAnn's amazing mom!!!!  We owe her BIG!  It was so nice to actually go to dinner and be able to enjoy it!  We had dinner at this cute restaurant on the beach called Hurricane's.  The food was yummy and best of all we got to spend a great night out with great friends!
