Payten and I joined some girlfriends and their kiddies for a nice lunch at BJ's Brewhouse on Saturday afternoon. I had my favorite chicken salad! Yum! And then we headed over to the mall, to get a cookie from Mrs. Field's and let the kiddies play in the play area. Here is a picture of Payten and I after our yummy lunch!
Sunday was our usual house work/yard work day. As I worked on the stuff on the inside, Sean was outside ripping up the backyard. Since the winter ruined everything in the yard including the grass it has left us no choice but to start over. Although its taken me weeks to come to terms with this, as we were working outside so we're lots of our neighbors. So it's nice to know that we are not alone in this expensive and time consuming project.. :-( Since we are starting over, we have decided to order Payten a swing set, and make the backyard a little more kid friendly. The swing set is ordered and is expected to arrive next Tuesday. So needless to say there is a lot of work that needs to be done in a short amount of time. But I have no doubt that Sean will have it all done, because once he has his mind set to something he doesn't stop until its done.
