Can't believe today is Payten's 1st day of VPK! Where has the time gone?! She was beyond excited this morning. She LOVES school! Now I just hope she always feels this way :-)
And of course Camryn wanted in on the school picture fun too!

TGIF!
TGIF!!!! What a week! I feel like I say that every week lately. Things have been so crazy around here. I don't know whether I am coming or going. It's been a busy week getting things together for the 1st day of school. Plus soccer season will be starting soon and since the hubby is coaching we have a little prep work to do. Luckily dance doesn't start until the first week of September so we have a few more weeks before we throw that into our schedule! But once things are going our weeks will be quite busy.
Monday - Payten Dance
Tuesday - Camryn Dance & Hubby plays softball
Friday - Soccer practice
Saturday - Soccer games
I am sure by Sunday I'll be ready for a break of doing NOTHING! Oh not to mention once the school year starts it begins birthday party season, haha. So our calendar will be full with those as well :-)
Our weekend is pretty low key. Tonight we are meeting up with our friends, the Berry's, since they are in town from NJ, then tomorrow we are heading to the water park. Sunday I am hoping to tackle touching up the base boards and painting our master bedroom, but we'll see. I still need to pick out a paint color!

Beach fun!
We needed a change of pace. So we decided to head to Cocoa Beach on Saturday. The girls LOVE the beach. Its one place we can go and there won't be any bickering back and forth. We got to hang out for a few hours and enjoy some fun in the sun. It was much needed!!!
Lots going on in the Hogan household these days. We are looking forward to the new school year starting on Monday! Back packs are packed, clothes are picked out, and the girls are SUPER excited!!! It will Payten's first day of VPK! I still can't believe it!
Dance will be starting up, as well as soccer. It will be a very busy fall season for us!! And of course the birthday parties are starting to fill our calendar for the rest of the year as well!
As you can tell I am in a blogging rut. But I am sure it will pass, as it usually does. In the meantime I am going to enjoy the last few days of summer with my girls! :-)

Party planning mode!
When I get in party planning mode its all over! I become obsessed! It's all I think about. Even laying in bed I have all of these ideas going through my head. I have a serious problem, I know! :-) I guess I enjoy it so much because it lets me be creative and not think about "reality" and since lately things have been so crazy I like to just focus on something other then the serious things in life.

TGIF! It's been a pretty quiet week around here. Not that I am complaining. I am hoping the weather holds out tomorrow so we can head to the beach! I have been wanting to go for weeks but it just hasn't happened. Other then that no other plans for our weekend. Happy Friday!!

Birthday Planning continued...
Two months to day until Camryn's 3rd Birthday party! I still can't believe it! THREE... I mean how can she be turning 3?! Wasn't it yesterday when I was freaking out on how I would juggle two kiddies under the age of 2?! Its crazy how fast time flies when you have kids!
This picture collage pretty much sums up the ideas I have for Camryn's brithday party! I promised myself I wouldn't go over the top. But ya know how that goes! I am amazed at myself that I have already ordered her invitations and started working on her birthday banner! I am hoping to have everything finished at least two weeks prior that way I can actually enjoy everything but we'll see. My plan for this week is to finish up her birthday banner. So we'll see! I also want to get started making her initial and frame it, like the one in the picture above :-)
Our weekend was pretty low key. I still wasn't feeling 100% so we hung home. Caught up on some house work and just vegged. Felt great! My parents came for a visit yesterday. It was a nice day just hanging out!

Weekday Wrap Up
It's been another crazy week around here! It seems like its been one thing after the next this week! I was hoping since August started on Wednesday it would be a fresh new month, well boy was I wrong!
Monday started Camryn's 2nd week of potty training, and believe it or not she has done amazingly well! She has had only ONE accident all week at school, I can't believe it!!!! Woot woot, go Cami!
Tuesday night I started to feel under the weather. Feeling achy, my throat started to hurt, so I decided to go to bed early. Well I didn't get much sleep that night. I was up pretty much the whole night :-(. Wednesday morning I was just feeling AWFUL! I made a doctors appointment and sure enough I have a throat infection :-(. I started some antibiotics and I am finally on the mend now, thank goodness!
Not only did I start feeling icky Tuesday night, but our downstairs a/c unit went out. Ehhh! Not the best thing to happen when its 90+ degrees outside! Luckily the a/c repairman came out on Wednesday and told us its a broken thermostat. My hubby installed a new one and now we're good to go.
I thought after our a/c issue that would be the end of our bad luck for a while since its been one thing after another. But nope! Unfortunately its not something I can discuss on here until its over but its not good thing. Trying to think positive about it but with the luck we've had lately, how can I! I can say one thing it involves my husband and his past employer. I am praying for a good turn out. Stay tuned, although I am sure it will be months until its all done.
I sure hope your week was better then mine! TGIF!
