30 Days of Thankfulness - Week 4

Day 22: Today I am so thankful to be spending the holiday with my family & friends. Missing all of the ones that we can't spend the day with. Hope you all have a WONDERFUL day! {Gobble gobble}

Day 23: I am so thankful for Black Friday for all the awesome deals!! And also thankful to my parents for keeping the girls while we shop ♥

Day 24: Today I am so thankful for these past two days with my hubby!! It doesn't happen often were we get to spend time just the two of us.. I've really enjoyed this!! ❤ ya Sean Paul!! 

Day 25: Today I am thankful for a great 4 day weekend... I wish every weekend could be like this! Quality time with the girls and the hubby, doesn't get any better then that!

Day 26: Today I am so thankful that the GMEN kicked some Packer behind. :-)

Day 27: Today I am so thankful for being able to go on vacation in a few days.... but do I really have to pack?! One of my least favorite things to do! 

 

Day 28: Today I am so thankful for my blog. I really do love having a place to brag about my girls... hehe. I know this is something in the years to come that I will love looking back on. 

Day 29: I am sooo thankful that today we are leaving outta here on a BIG boat.... So thankful we get to take our first family cruise!

Day 30: Today I am so thankful for good health! After hearing and seeing so many heart breaking stories on sicknesses this year, I feel so fortunate to be so healthy. I am praying 2013 brings happiness and good health to everyone! ♥

And we're off....

We are sailing out this afternoon on a 4 day getaway.  First one in FIVE years since we've had the girls.  This is the girls first cruise so fingers crossed it goes great!  There is no doubt they won't have a blast but I am praying they don't get sea sick like their daddy :-(.

I wonder if I over packed for the girls?

We'll be heading to Cozumel, Mexico.  This trip only has one port stop but I am not going to lie my favorites days are the days at sea.  There is so much to do on the ship and that is the best time to do it.  Of course my favorites part of the ship is the Spa... hehe.

Wordless Wednesday - 11.28

Visit with Santa

I know its a bit early to visit Santa but with our crazy few weeks ahead I figured while we had the chance we better go visit him.  Of course it went just as I thought it would.  Payten absolutely LOVED Santa, gave him lots of hugs and kisses.  And well Camryn wasn't a fan.  I was hoping this year she would be different about it but no such luck.  Wanted nothing to do with him.  There's always next year right?

Thanksgiving Weekend

I really wish every weekend was 4 days!  It's the perfect amount of time to have fun and get things accomplished!  Although I am still feeling overwhelmed since we leave for our trip on Thursday but with some late nights this week it'll all get done, so I hope :-)

Thursday we had a great Thanksgiving with our family and friends.  We ate and ate.... to the point where I don't think I am going to eat another thing for weeks!  I am STILL stuffed!  

Thursday night after dessert, the girls went home with my parents to spend some quality time with their Mema & Poppy.  It was a nice treat for the hubby and I since we don't get much alone time.  Thursday evening I ventured out on my normal Black Friday shopping.  This year Sean even joined us.  Well more like he waited on the Target line for us :-).  What a good husband right?!  Got some pretty good deals.  Not as good at the years before but some stuff was well worth it.  

Friday night we went with some friends to catch a bite to eat and have some "adult" time!  We went to my fav "Rocco Tacos".  Love that place!  Great food, good drinks, awesome DJ.... a great night out!

  

 

Saturday morning I ran a few errands, got my nails done, enjoyed running errands not worrying about having to get home before the girls went wild :-)... Late that afternoon we headed to my parents to pick up the girls.  They were both happy and sad to see us.  They missed us of course but didn't want to leave their Mema & Poppy's house :-(.  They had a great time with them!

Sunday morning we started our morning with some yummy donuts.  The girls favorite on a Sunday morning. 

After they were all sugared up, we decorated our Christmas tree.  Since the coming weekends are crazy busy we wanted to get this done.  We almost were going to say forget the tree since we'll be in Wisconsin for Christmas this year but the girls begged to put it up.  They had a blast decorating it!  They just wished Mommy didn't have so many breakable ornaments... note for next year buy some non shattering ornaments :-)

 Our Elf on the shelf arrived yesterday too!  The girls are in awww over him.... They named him Corgi :-)

We had a great long weekend!  And we are already looking forward to our next long weekend, THIS WEEKEND!!!  We'll be cruising out of here on Thursday!  Can't wait!!

Thanksgiving Day

It was a great low key day!  Weather was perfect, food was yummy, and spending the day with family & friends.  Couldn't have asked for a better way to spend Thanksgiving day!

30 Days of Thankfulness - Week 3

Day 15:  Today I am so thankful to all of the photographers I have used over the years that captured priceless moments of my family.  Each and every photo is so special to me.  I love looking back and seeing how my family has grown.  You each have an amazing talent! 

Day 16: Today I am so thankful for my sweet puppies Corgi & Roxy... even though Corgi is in puppy heaven there isn't a day that goes by that we don't think of you.

Day 17: Today I am so thankful that its almost time for the holiday season... this is truly my favorite time of the year! There is nothing better then getting to spend this time with your family and friends! ♥

Day 18: Today I am so thankful for Uniquely Me... I am truly amazed at how fast my small side business has grown. Thank you to all that has helped it grow leaps and bounds this year. Looking forward to seeing what the next year has to bring!

Day 19: Today I am thankful for short work weeks! Only working one complete week for the rest of the year... I could totally get use to this!

Day 20: Today I am thankful Pinterest. Whether its for the yummy recipes or adorable craft ideas, I absolutely love this site! Although I am sure Sean Hogan would disagree since it just makes projects for him as well... hehe.

Day 21: Today I am so thankful for all of my photos. I absolutely LOVE looking back through the years to see how much the girls really have grown. Although it makes me sad to see how big they have gotten, but I love watching them grow into little ladies. ♥

Wordless Wednesday - 11.21

Countdown is on. . .

Only 2 more days... BLACK FRIDAY!  By far one of my favorite days of the whole year!!  There is nothing better then getting a good deal :-)

I think I have a pretty good idea of my game plan for the night/day.

Toys R Us opens at 8p, so that will be our first stop.  I am thinking we should be in line no later then 7p, but probably more like 6:30p.  That way we are one of the firsts and we can be in and out.  There isn't a ton on my list.  But one of my main things is the Disney Princess Dress Up trunk. 

Then its on to Target, which thankfully is right up the road from Toys R Us.  The hubby is coming with this year for Black Friday so I am thinking of having him stand in line at Target while we are at Toys R Us.  Hmmm I wonder if he'll go for it?  Hehe.  

I am thinking a quick nap, then heading to the mall.  Macy's and Gymboree is a must and maybe even swinging by Crazy 8 (love that they opened one by us)!

What is everyone shopping for?   Nothing too crazy on our list this year just the basic girly things... hehe!
