Five Question Friday - 12/17

It's literally been months since I have joined along with the Five Question Friday. I am finally caught up with blogging so I decided to join along. This is one of my favorite blog hops. So much fun reading everyone's answers. Happy Friday all!

1) Do you regift.. and if so, do you have a regifting horror story?
NO, NEVER! To be honest I never really receive anything I don't like or won't use so there is no reason for me to regift.

2) Do you know what you are getting for Christmas this year?
Actually I do, because I already received it :-) The hubby bought me a Cricut a few months ago and I begged him to let me have it early.

3) Who brings the most gifts in your family, you or Santa?
Santa of course! And I think Santa went a little overboard this year!

4) What store do you love to buy jeans from?
Express... its the only store I will buy them from. I have bought a few pairs from others store, one being Gap and then I wind up hating them after a wear or two.

5) Christmas Meal: Big, All Out Meal or Snacks and Apps?
Big meal of course. We are the traditional Italian family so we of course have like SEVEN courses!

Five Question Friday - 9/3

Happy Friday everyone!!! It's been a few weeks since I participated due to the craziness but here is this week's edition of 5QF. If you would like to play along, head over to My Little Life and link up!

1) What do you do when you have time for yourself?
The last few weeks I have been working on the details for Camryn's birthday party. But when I do actually get a few moments for myself I love to scrapbook!

2) When you look out your kitchen window, what do you see?
Our pool, swing set, and fence :-)

3) Who/What would you want to be reincarnated as?
I have never really thought about who I would want to be... but all that comes to mind is that I want to be is RICH!

4) What is your biggest pet peeve about others peoples kids?
Not sure about others peoples kids. But I can speak for mine.... and its the whining! My two year old is an advocate of this... ahhh!

5)Regular or Diet Soda?
REGULAR! Diet is yucky!

1) Did you have a favorite blanket or toy as a kid? If so, do you still have it? I had a favorite blanket, a mint green one. I don't, my mom made me give it to Santa one year.. I think I was about 7.

2) Do you dream in color? No

3) How tall are you? Do you wish you were shorter or taller? A short person never discloses that information.. haha just kidding... 4'11, and on good days 5 ft :-) I wish I was 2 or 3 inches taller. But actually I love being short :-)

4) If you could have anyone's (celeb or other) voice as a guide on your GPS, who would it be? Character "Dante" from General Hospital, I love his voice!!

5) Do you return the shopping cart to the corral or leave it wherever in the parking lot? Totally depends on where the corral is and who I have with me. If I am along I return it but if I am with the girls by myself and the corral is far I just leave it.

2. What's the best compliment you have ever received? Your little girls are beautiful.

3. Do you buy cheap or expensive toilet paper? I will NEVER buy Scott, but I buy whatever is on sale, does that make it cheap?

4. Have you ever had a surprise party thrown for you? Of have you had one for someone else? I have never had one thrown for me, but I did throw one for my mom and aunt for their 40th birthday.

5. What is the one material possession that you "can't live without"? My Chi flat iron

1) Do you collect anything? I collect Precious Moments and Snowbabies.

3) Do you have any scars? If so, what is the story behind it (them). I have two! One from having my two beautiful baby girls. And one of my foot, that happened when someone shut the door on my poor little foot.

4) What is a food that you like to eat, but others might think its gross or weird? Nothing that I can think of...

5) Have you ever seen a tornado in real life? No, thank goodness!

1) What is the one thing most you miss about childhood? Just being a kid and not having a worry in the world.

2) Are you still friends with your friends from high school? Believe it or not I am still friends with most of them. I don't obviously see them often since I live in a different state but I talk to several of them quite often.

3) Is there a catch phrase, cliche, or word that drives you bonkers every time you hear it? "Whatever" and the best thing is I use it all the time but if someone else says it directly to me, drives me nuts.. LOL

4) What is one thing that you think symbolizes America besides... "Old Glory"? Freedom

5) What are your 4th of July weekend plans? BBQ's, fun in the sun, and water parks :-)

1) What is your favorite thing about summertime? Can we really only just list one... Love that it gets dark so late! I absolutely love having so many hours of daylight. It allows you to have a full day of fun until almost 9pm!

2)What is your ideal retirement location (even money didn't matter)? Believe it or not, Florida even though I live here... but it would totally be in Boca Raton or West Palm Beach. The house definitely would have to be on the beach!

3) Do you live in the same town you grew up in? No

4) What is a nervous habit you had as a child that you kicked to the curb before becoming an adult? Biting my nails!

5) What is the most embarrassing thing that happened to you on the job? Oh my.... falling down a complete flight of stairs with a skirt on and about 20 witnessing it :-(

1. What do you think makes a good friend, or friendship? Trust, Loyalty, Honesty... Being there for someone through thick and thin, even if you don't agree in all they do but being honest about it, and always sharing a good laugh with one another.

2. What is the last thing you bought & later regretted? A car, haha... Well it wasn't til months later... It's not that I didn't like the car its that my husband got a company car so now it sits in the driveway all day long :-(

3. Have you ever had a prank played on you? Hmmm, not that I can remember off the top of my head... but I am sure I have.

4. What is your favorite theme park? Islands of Adventures!!! I love roller coasters!

5. Have you ever seen someone else give birth? No.. and not sure I would want to. I didn't even want to see myself give birth.. LOL

1. Is there something you've always wanted to try but just can't muster up the courage to actually do yet? Sky diving!! I always wanted to do it but I am way too chicken. The whole fear of heights thing does it for me.

2. If you had $100 handed to you in cash without your significant other knowing about it, what would you spend it on? Clothes! I love to shop! And that would be clothes for myself since the girls already always get so much :-)

3. What was your favorite piece of playground equipment as a child? The Swings. I could swing for hours, heck I still could :-)

4. Do you prefer a sweet or hearty breakfast? Sweet, I am sweets person for sure... pancakes smothered in strawberries and strawberry syrup, Mmmmm

5. Are you a Neat Freak or a Messy Bessy? Neat Freak for sure. Well at least I try to be. Although with two kids it is certainly hard these days to keep up!

1. Do you have an iPhone and, if so, how do you get apps and what are your favorites? No iPhone for me. I have a Blackberry Curve.

2. What is your fondest memory of K-3rd grade? Hmmm... it had to be how much I loved my first grade teacher Mrs. White. I was so distraught when she had to go on maternity leave because she was the coolest teacher ever :-)

3. What makes you cringe at the thought of touching? A snake!!! They are soo gross and creep me out!

4. If you could have any celebrity show up on your doorstep who would it be and why? McSteamy from Greys, ya know Mark Sloan aka Eric Dane! Because he's a HOTTIE!!!!

5. What would you say is your best physical feature? Really you have to ask me now? Just 7 months after having a baby.... although I guess I have to say my "boobs". LOL. My friends know why :-)

Happy Friday everyone!!! It's finally almost the weekend!!

1. Take your pick...date night, girls night out, or night out alone? Can I choose two of them. I am with my friend LeeAnn on this one, I would love to go out with the hubby and friends too! We seldom every get to go out with just friends and NO kids. Although I do enjoy alone time with the hubbs, we do always have a blast with our friends :-)

2. Can you touch your nose with your tongue? Heck no! But my daughter can! She has the longest tongue for a two year old. Haha.

3. What is your favorite flower and why? Tulips! They are my favorite. They are so pretty and come in lots of fun colors!

4. If you could go back in time, what advice would you give yourself? To take one day at a time, and to not rush the time by. I am trying to be better at this and not rush Monday-Friday but I just love spending the weekends with the hubby and the girls. Working is so overrated, :-)

5. If you won the lottery, what is the very first thing you would do? Quit my job!!!! If am rich why the heck do I need to work :-)

2. What was YOUR naughtiest childhood memory? (Must be something YOU did, no pawning it off on someone else!) Biting everyone. I know what a horrible thing right? But I was the "little biter"

3. Where do you like to go to relax? On an island, far far away :-)

4. What was the last thing you won? A trip to Vegas, that we can't even use :-(

5. If you could be on a game show, which would you chose? Wheel a Fortune... I think it would be so much fun, and I am good at it... well at least at home :-)

1. If you could, would you go back to high school? Absolutely! It was by far some of the best years of my life! Living carefree, no responsibilities, and just being young :-)

2. If a genie appeared and granted you two wishes, what would they be? (And, no saying "more wishes".)

1. To come into a significant amount of money so that we could live worry free along with our family and friends.

2. For my family to be healthy and be with us for a long time!


3. What kids show do you secretly like? Miss Sunny Patch Friends (I think that is the name)

4. What is your beverage of choice? Cherry Coke (Fountain)

5. What is something that you would change about yourself (or are working to change in yourself)? Patience. Some days I do great and other days I don't have any. But it's a work in progress
