Weekend - Part 2

It's Thursday already and I am finally getting to post the rest of the pictures from our weekend!!!  It's been a busy week around here, still playing catch up from the weekend!

Saturday we enjoyed a nice day at the beach.  The kids had so much fun!  They spent most of there time in the water.  They were like little fish!  Luckily there Dad's love the water too because there were in there the entire time with them :-)

After our fun day at the beach with the kiddies.... the adults got to enjoy a night out ALONE, thanks to LeeAnn's amazing mom!!!!  We owe her BIG!  It was so nice to actually go to dinner and be able to enjoy it!  We had dinner at this cute restaurant on the beach called Hurricane's.  The food was yummy and best of all we got to spend a great night out with great friends!

Weekend Getaway - Busch Gardens

Since I took a TON of photos, I thought it was best to split this into two posts!  

Friday we started our long weekend with the Hinken Family by spending the day at Busch Gardens.  It was SUPER hot but it was totally worth it for the all the fun we had!  The kids had an absolute blast, especially in Sesame Land where we spent most of our day.  They got to cool off in the water area, while the adults were standing there sweating well not really true because everyone but me decided to take the plunge in there to cool down, haha.  The adults definitely have to come back soon with no kiddies so we can ride all of the fun roller coasters!!!  I did get to ride the Cheetah Hunt, which was AWESOME!  But I would love to ride all of the others!!!  I am a huge roller coaster nut!

Father's Day continues. .

We had a great weekend!  But of course now its time to play catch up from being gone all weekend. So for now I will leave you with some Father's Day goodies the girls and I made for their Daddy.

I also made my Dad a picture video for Father's Day!  I don't know what I would do without him, he is my rock and the reason I am the person I am today.  I couldn't have asked for a better Dad!!!

End of the Year Fun!

This week has been a "fun" week for the girls at school.  It's been a themed week.  The girls love weeks like these! Unfortunately they didn't participate on Monday because they are both not a big hat fan :-(  But they did have fun the other three days!!

8 years ago. . .

today heaven got one of the best angels!  I still can't believe its been 8 years, Poppy.... We miss you more and more each day.  I sure wish you were here to see my girls grow up because I know you would have been such an incredible great grandfather!  Love you always Pop!

Last day of the school year!

Well technically tomorrow is the last day of the school year for the girls but since we are headed on our mini vacation, today is there last day!  The girls go to school year all year round but Monday marks a new year for them.  They are switching classrooms before the summer so they are ready for when the actual "school" year starts in August.  I know Payten will do great in her transition but not so sure about Camryn.  It takes Camryn a bit longer to get adjusted to change.  But I am hoping it won't take too long!

Aren't these cups adorable?  I ordered them for the teachers end of the year gifts.  I hope they like them!  I know I sure do!  I totally should have ordered myself one :-)  Happy Thursday!
