Soccer

Camryn started soccer for the Spring season this past week.  She had her first practice and is ready to start the season. The first season she played she didn't seem all that into it but now she seems to be really liking it. So we'll see at the first game! She sure is a cute soccer player :-)

Last soccer game

Yesterday was the last soccer game for the Spring 2013 season.  What a great season the Purple team had!  We kicked some serious butt today!  Great team work!  It took literally until the last practice and game for Camryn to actually get into it.  But hey better late then never, right?  So I am thinking Cam will be returning to soccer after all.  :-)

Our Weekend

It's been crazy over here!  Which is why I have been MIA!  I am hoping to play catch up this week but it seems like this week is turning out to be as crazy as last week :-)

Our weekend was pretty relaxing.  Friday night was supposed to our monthly Bunco girls night out but since so many had to back out we did a girls night out Bonefish style.  Haha.  It's one of my favorite places so of course I didn't mind.

Saturday was an early morning for us.  Camryn had an 8:30a soccer game.  So needless to say we were up by 7a.  Not fun to be up that early on the weekend!  After the game the girls and I went over to ChickFilA for breakfast.  The hubby was working all day so it was a girls day.  We came home after ChickFilA and as I did some spring cleaning the girls enjoyed some time playing outside.  We squeezed in a short nap before heading to a few stores.

Sunday morning we headed to our favorite breakfast place, First Watch.  It's just so yummy every time!  Then off to Aquatica we went.  The sunny wasn't beaming but it was still really nice.  We got to hang out there for a few hours before the girls were exhausted, then home we went.  The rest of the day was a blur as we attempted to clean the garage, oh joy!

1st Soccer Game

I've been trying to catch up on all my blog posts but lately I just haven't had enough time.  Camryn had her 1st soccer game last Saturday the 23rd.  The Purple did awesome!  We are looking forward to an exciting season!

 

Camryn's 1st Soccer Practice

I am so bummed I miss Camryn's 1st soccer practice.  It was Thursday after my surgery so I was totally out of commission.  Sean said she did great!  I sure hope I feel good enough to see her this week! 

Fun fall weekend!

I feel like by this time of the season we have done so many more fall acitivies but this year we've been slacking!  I think with soccer and dance for the girls, that is keeping us pretty busy so doing other actitives has kind of taken the back seat.  :-(

Saturday morning we started our day at the soccer field.  From the pictures you'll see how well the game went for Payten.... or I should say how it didn't go well :-(

Payten was doing great in the beginning... but then her Daddy got frustrated and put in Camryn....  Payten has told us that soccer isn't her thing and that is okay.  But just like my parents taught me you must finish the season out.  It's only fair to your team.  So Payten needs to step it up for the last two remaining games, and I guess she'll just stick to the girly activities for now :-)

The weather was beautiful Saturday!  There was actually a breeze and wasn't crazy hot!  Well maybe it was when you were in the direct sunlight but it was still really nice.  A treat for us Floridians for sure!  We headed to SeaWorld for the Halloween Spooktacular!  We didn't do too much trick or treating but we had a blast seeing the shows and riding the rides :-)

Yesterday morning we had a yummy breakfast at Perkins.  We did some window shopping and then headed home.  Both girls were exhausted from our busy day on Saturday so they were both napping by 12:30p.  And of course I squeezed in a nap too!  I loev Sunday afternoon naps!  I had every intention of taking the girls to the pumpkin patch but once I was home I didn't feel like leaving the house :-(.  I am thinking we'll go one day this week after school!

Perfect weekend!

I thought our weekend wasn't going to turn out to be a great one but ended up being just perfect!

Friday evening, Payten's soccer practice got rained out.  It seems to be the trend lately. :-(  So since the girls we are all rallied up we decided to head to Target.  An icee and popcorn is just what they needed!  It was rainy all night, so we all got dressed into our pj's and headed to bed rather early.  It was a good thing since our 8:30a soccer game came pretty fast Saturday morning :-)

Payten had her 1st official soccer game!  She had a blast along with her teammates.  They all did amazing!  We don't keep score in this league but our team definitely won. The score was like 35-5, no joke.  For every 10 goals we got the other team got one. :-)

Since the game was so early we were able to squeeze in a day at the water park!  It was PERFECT weather!  Not too hot, the water was a perfect temperature.  I am so glad we decided to go!  With our busy weekends coming up it might be the last for the season :-(

Saturday evening we had an adult night out, woot woot!  Luckily lately its been like once a month, which I am LOVING!  I think we need to keep this trend.  We headed out to celebrate our friend Rob's 35th birthday!  We had a lot of fun.  Lots of great laughs!

Sunday morning we started our day at Ally's 4th Birthday party.  It was at Gymboree Music and Play.  The girls loved it!!!  And it was a perfect way to tire them out for a Sunday afternoon nap :-) Ally's party was a blast and awesome decorations thanks to her mommy, Kim!! 

It was a busy weekend but definitely a fun one!  We are looking forward to some fall fun soon!  Let's just hope it cools off in Florida soon so we can enjoy it without sweating :-)
