Allure of the Seas - Day 1

Since I took a gazillion pictures I am going to post each day separately.

We arrived on Sunday, May 12, Mother's Day, couldn't be a better way to start my Mother's Day.  We boarded the ship and as soon as we walked in we were in aww at that awesome colorful waterfall right in front of it.  You walk into the ship on the promenade deck and its amazing!

We explored a few floors of the ship before heading to our room since we knew it would be a while before our luggage would show up.  We made our way to the 8th floor - Central Park, checked out the pool deck, grabbed a quick bite to eat in the Windjammer, then made our way to our room.  This time I remembered to pack bathing suits in a separate bag so we can head to the pool even before our luggage arrived.  We got upgraded to an overview room which was pretty awesome!  The girls were in aww over the kid area.  They loved all the sprayers, hot tub, and cool wave swirly pool {not sure how to describe it}.  The girls and Sean enjoyed their first ice cream cone!
After a swim at the pool, we headed back to the room to get changed and head to dinner.  Well first of course we had to explore more of the ship.  We made our way to the 6th floor, our favorite, The Boardwalk!  It's so much fun!  So much for the kids to do and just the whole atomsphere is so cool!  We of course rode the carousel, well actually a few times, checked out the candy shop, played with some of the photo props they had out, and the girls played in the little playground.
After we played around we headed to dinner, since we wanted to explore more of the ship and enjoy the fun activities we just went to the Windjammer for dinner. We also made our way to the 14th floor to sign the girls up for Adventure Ocean {kids club}.  Then on our way down to the promenade we got to see a few characters, the girls just love this!  Since we had a long drive and a crazy day we called it an early night around 11p... is that even early?  Haha
