House obessed!

I am totally obsessed with finishing decorating our new house. One of my biggest pet peeves is things being left incomplete. I know I have issues!

I am so excited about my AWESOME deal on my dining room curtains. I ordered these Friday for $35.00 for BOTH panels with shipping! What a deal! I ordered them in the burnt orange color. I am going for a different look for our new dining room.

My office is where I spend a lot of my time so its one the first rooms that has to be complete. I ordered these rustic red curtains and can't wait to get them up!

The hubby and I even got some pictures on the wall in here as well! I love looking at my engagement and wedding pictures! So crazy to think that these were six and eight years ago!

This decal won for Payten's room! It has been ordered and can't wait to see it on her wall!

Disney on Ice, Dance, Birthday Party, & lots more!

Yep you read that right.... we had a busy weekend!!! Not that its unusual around here lately. But it was fun so totally worth it!

We started our weekend Friday evening when Payten and I met her dance friends and moms at Disney on Ice. The girls had an absolute blast! The show was awesome. Of course they enjoyed all the goodies that came along with the show... crowns, wands, cotton candy.. ya know the usual princess stuff! We were out quite late but was totally worth it for the priceless smiles all night!

Saturday was a CRAZY day for us! Our day started early. First, Payten and I went to her 1st dance class of the year. It's amazing how different this 1st day was to last years. The girls have grown so much and they are like pros now. But of course they are sooo adorable in their tap shoes and tutu's!

We had to leave class early to attend Bryce's 2nd Birthday! Payten and Camryn had a blast at the Kids gym. They were running around like nuts, LOL. It was so good to see Bryce and his big sister Rylie. We hope we can see them again real soon!

Luckily we made it home in the late afternoon so the girls had a little nap to recharge for the evening! We headed over to our friends house for a lazy Saturday night of just hanging out. We had a great relaxing evening. Payten even had her first sleepover and did great! No 3am calls for this Mama :-) The hubby and I took Camryn home, got her all tucked in and that's where our night went down hill. . .

Before we had left to go to our friends house, either my hubby or I let the dogs out back to go to the bathroom. Of course we were in a rush to leave, as always, and didn't realize we didn't let them back in until we got home over 3 hours later. I went to open the door and let our older dog in and realized that our youngest Roxy was not in the backyard. :-( She had slid her body under the fence. We called and called her from our property but no sign of her. My hubby's grabbed his car keys and started searching the neighborhood for her. He came back about 30 minutes later and no luck. My heart just sank, and my stomach was turning. Three hours is a long time and who knows how far she can be by now. And this is a neighborhood there is no way she is going to find her way back. Now I was freaking out! I called a friend to come over to sit at the house with Camryn while I helped Sean look for her. He now went by foot and I went by car. We we out looking for 2 hours and that is when I was giving up hope. I started making Missing Dog signs, and Sean went back out again to look some more. Just as I was printing the signs, here comes my hubby and Roxy. I was beside myself, crying like a baby. One of our neighbors found her and kept her at their house, and figured since it was late in the evening that they would wait until the morning to go door to door to see who she belongs to. I am so grateful for good people like them, because they are truly hard to find these days. I am so glad my baby made it home safe and sound. And boy did we learn our lesson not to rush around before the leaving the house!

So it was quite the weekend! But so glad things turned out the way they did! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Friday already?!

Is it really Friday?! Where did this week go? I know it was a short one but geez I feel like it was just Tuesday. I am not complaining but any means since I love the weekends, but wow! And our weekend is just as busy!

Tonight I am taking Payten to see Disney on Ice with some of her dance friends. She is totally siked! She has been talking about it for days! Tomorrow is her first day of dance for the year, followed by a special little's guys 2nd Birthday party! Sunday we are hoping to get some things done around the house but ya just never know around here lately. Something is always going on! Any plans for your weekend?

I did order this neat Family Monogram from Etsy! I can't wait until it arrives. I have a few more vinyl decals I would like to order but I need to find the time to measure to see how big I need them. Time? What's that?

Wordless Wednesday - 9/7

Labor Day Weekend

It was a busy fun weekend for us!!!

Friday night I met up with the girls and took my first Zumba class. That class is no joke. I thought it would be a breeze but I got my butt kicked, in a good way that is. It was a fun one and will definitely be doing that again soon! After Zumba I ran a few errands while the girls spent the evening with their Daddy. Since the hubby was out of town for a few days last week he let me have the night off, and boy did I need it!!!

Saturday we had Liam's 1st Birthday! We had a blast! And just loved all the safari decor!!

Sunday we went the beach with The Smith family! It was a beautiful beach day. Not too too hot, and the kids had a blast playing. The water was a little too cold for me but of course the girls and their daddies loved it!

Yesterday we worked on house projects all day! We got the curtains hung in the family room and the master bedroom. Hung a organizer in Payten's closet, added little accents to Camryn's room, and the hubby did some more paitning. It's finally coming along! I will post more pictures later this week :-) Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend!

TGIF!!

So glad its Friday and even happier that I have a half day at work, woo hoo! I am hoping to head to Blizzard Beach with the girls for a few hours to have some fun! This will be the first weekend in over a month that we can do something fun. The past 6 weeks or so have been consumed with packing and moving, and quite frankly I am over it!

We have a busy weekend ahead! Birthday party, BBQ, a beach day :-) Hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend! Be safe!
