Remember. . .

my post about traveling? Well I am having one of those days where I just want to be on and island away from "everyday" life. It probably doesn't help that this week is Spring Break and many friends are on vacation or is it that we are in the process of moving and knowing we won't have a vacation for a while is getting to me. . Ahhhh. I hate to sit here and complain but I need to vent.

Why can't there just be enough money and time to move and travel at the same time?! I know I am living in a fantasy world. I sure hope that in the end moving is totally worth it but right now it totally doesn't seem it. It's probably because after looking at a million houses on Saturday and realizing that NONE of them are the one for us. I have a feeling this is going to be a long stressful process, which is why I am totally needing a vacation

And it's up . . .

The "For Rent" sign is finally up! It's something the hubby and I have been talking about for months and we finally have followed through. This is a picture of it before it actually was put up but its now official. We have heard from three different people that are interested so we are in the process of showing them the house, and we'll go from there.

Right now we do not have another house to move to so we are trying to get working on that. Yesterday we did go out with a Realtor and looked at several houses and in different neighborhoods to get a feel of what we would like. So its a starting point. I am sure in the months to come we'll see a ton more houses and hopefully we'll be putting an offer on one soon! Stay tuned! Happy Sunday!!

Easter Pictures

I ventured out to a new place to have the girls pictures taken. Usually for Easter and Christmas I take them to a studio (Picture People or Target), but this time I have had several recommendations from friends to try Portrait Innovations. And I have to say I was pretty impressed. They are no Amy Robertson photos but they did come out really cute. And they are great photos to give out to the family. Here is just a sneak peak from our session. There were about 75 photos. The photographer definitely caught some great facial expressions of the girls.

Easter Egg Hunt

As you can probably tell I love to throw parties :-) Especially kid ones because there smiles are priceless! In October I hosted a Halloween party for the kiddies and it went great! The kids had a blast and gave the parents some adult time as well. Since that was such a blast I decided to host a Easter Egg Hunt. Instead of doing it at our house we will be having it a local park. I figured after the egg hunt the kids could hang out on the playground and enjoy some yummy snacks.

I found this adorable invitation on Etsy, surprise, right?, haha. I had to order it! It's soo cute! Check out seller laurenloulolly for some awesome invitations and paper goodies!

I am sure in the coming weeks as I start to plan a little more I will post some ideas that I have! Of course my Cricut will be put to good use again :-) I love that machine!!!
