Happy 6th Birthday, Payten Elisabeth!

I still can't believe it..... your turning S - I - X today!  I really feel like we were just welcoming you into this world!  You have been such a blessing to Daddy and I.  You really showed us the true meaning of love.  We have watched you grow from an itty bitty baby to a beautiful, smart, funny, sweet, sassy little girl.  You are an amazing big sister to Camryn.  She truly adores having you as her sister.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

Part of Payten's birthday present was a trip to one of her favorite places, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.  Her and Camryn had so much fun.  My girly girls love getting all dressed up!  They are all about the glitz, I love it!

Father/Daughter Dance

This past Friday was the annual Father/Daughter Dance at Payten's school. She was super excited to spend the night with her Daddy.  They looked so good!  Payten was just too cute giving her Daddy lots of kisses and smiling ear to ear!

Keeping it simple

This year we are keeping Payten's birthday party simple.  This is going to be our off year for big parties.  The weekend of her birthday we are going to have a pajama party with her closet friends.  And then on Sunday she is going to go to Bippity Boutique with Camryn.  She is super excited as she loves to get all dolled up :)  

I still can't believe my first born is turning SIX!  How the heck did that happen?  It feels like I just became a mom and now I am six years into it, craziness!  I am one lucky mom that I have two beautiful girls that I love with all my heart!

Payten's Surgery

I know I said weekly updates but clearly I can't even get to those these days.  Maybe a monthly one?!  

Payten had surgery about two weeks ago.  She had an infected tooth that needed to be removed.  We saw several dentists for a few opinions, most of them wanted to do the removal {general anesthesia} in their office but I just didn't feel comfortable with that. We finally found a pediatric dentist that we loved and she would perform the surgery at Arnold Palmer hospital.  Ahh finally!  It took a few weeks to get her on the surgery schedule but it was worth the wait because what an amazing experience we had at Arnold Palmer. Every nurse or doctor that we dealt with was AMAZING and went above and beyond to make Payten happy.  They truly have an amazing gift to be so good with children like that.

Payten's actual surgery went really well.  It only lasted about an hour.  They even cleaned her teeth while they were in there.  One less appointment we'll have to make for 6 months :-).  She was a little out of it from the anesthesia but by the next day she was good as new!

I am so glad this is behind us because I was an absolute wreck over this whole thing.

Cheer Competition

October 26th, Payten had her first cheerleading competition.  It's been quite an interesting season.  Learning a new routine a few times plus losing a few girls along the way but I am happy and proud to say they won FIRST place! They pulled it together and those girls rocked it!  I am so proud of Payten and her team! They did awesome!
