Birthday Celebrating Part II: Melting Pot

After our fun day at Blizzard Beach we met our friends at the Melting Pot for a yummy dinner. This place never seems to disappoint me. We even tried a new type of cheese "Fiesta" and it was awesome!! We had some really great laughs together. One of the best ADULT ONLY nights out that we had in a while! Thank you for making my birthday a special one!

Birthday Celebrating Part I: Blizzard Beach

We kicked off celebrating my birthday at Blizzard Beach. We don't really need a reason to celebrate to go to the water parks because we always go. It's so much fun and with this heat keeping cool is a must!

Payten of course enjoyed "Tike's Peak". She wasn't all about the slides this time but love splishing and splashing all over!

However she did enjoy one slide with her Daddy. But after that one she gave up on them for the rest of the day.

Camryn was enjoying the water between her toes, and loved observing everything going on around her. She even was making her own little splashes.

Five Question Friday

Happy Friday everyone!!! It's finally almost the weekend!!

Here is this week's edition of 5QF. If you would like to play along, head over to My Little Life and link up!

1. Take your pick...date night, girls night out, or night out alone? Can I choose two of them. I am with my friend LeeAnn on this one, I would love to go out with the hubby and friends too! We seldom every get to go out with just friends and NO kids. Although I do enjoy alone time with the hubbs, we do always have a blast with our friends :-)

2. Can you touch your nose with your tongue? Heck no! But my daughter can! She has the longest tongue for a two year old. Haha.

3. What is your favorite flower and why? Tulips! They are my favorite. They are so pretty and come in lots of fun colors!

4. If you could go back in time, what advice would you give yourself? To take one day at a time, and to not rush the time by. I am trying to be better at this and not rush Monday-Friday but I just love spending the weekends with the hubby and the girls. Working is so overrated, :-)

5. If you won the lottery, what is the very first thing you would do? Quit my job!!!! If am rich why the heck do I need to work :-)

Hope everyone has a great weekend! It is going to be a fun one for us! I'll be sure to post all about it on Monday!

Circle of Friends

Gymboree does it again. They had another one of there awesome sales. 30% off the ENTIRE store including all sale and clearance items. I mean how can you pass up a sale like that? I truly have a weakness for this store. The clothes are just too cute and I just love matching the girls. Here are a few items I bought the girls.

I bought both girls this dress for the 4th of July!

Both of these for are Payten. Since she is starting school in the fall she must have some new clothes. I purchased both in 2T

Both Girls also got the pink shirt on the left, and the adorable cherry bathing suit is for Payten. Let's just hope it fits. ::fingers crossed::

I usually don't love these type of outfits but for Camryn I thought it was adorable. On the butt it has little ruffles, too cute!

Best TV Night

I absolutely love Thursday night TV! Did I ever mention that? It doesn't get any better then Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice! And tonight is Private Practice's Season Finale.!! I am sure they'll leave us hanging but I still can't wait :-)

Ahhh McSteamy, my fav!!!

And will Addison and Sam just be together already, geez :-)

**I added a new little counter at the bottom of my blog, check it out! Now I just need to get a button made, that is coming soon :-)

New Book

Before having the girls and actually having some time to myself, I loved to read! I would read book after book, and stayed up many late nights just to finish one. It's been at least a year since I have been able to pick one up. But Emily Giffin came out with a new book "Hearts of the Matter" so its a must have! Her books are awesome. The first one I read was "Something Borrowed". It was one of those ones were you said just one more chapter and you kept reading and reading. I can't wait to start this new book. Let's just hope I can find the time :-)

School..... and Jillan Michael's!

Last week was a crazy week for blogging, I just had so much to post about, haha, that I didn't get around to talk about Payten's new adventure. We went last Tuesday to resister Payten for school. :-) She will be starting in August at a Christian School. It will be 3 mornings a week (Mon-Wed-Fri) for about 4 hours a day. We toured around the school and when we were finishing up and getting ready to leave Payten wanted to stay. I hope she's this excited come August. We thought this would be a great venture for her to interact with kids her age and learn lots of new things. I am sure there will be lots of posts in August about her new venture. :-)

Here we go again... Day 1 of Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shed. Wish me luck as she kicks my butt!! Here's to hoping these 9 lbs just burn away after one workout, haha... I know I'm funny :-)

Mother's Day On The Beach

I spent my Mother's Day relaxing on the beach.... it was soo nice! The weather was beautiful, the ocean was warm, my girls were great, and it was a wonderful day just relaxing with the family. It was so much fun watching Payten play in the sand and water. Her Pop Pop even bought her a boat to splish splash in.

Her big orange boat, that kept her amused for hours! What a wonderful thing this was. Not to mention it was a good laugh for all as she splashed away.

Camryn enjoyed her nice long nap and being held by her Mema, Poppy, aunts and uncles.

I am so lucky to be a mommy to my two beautiful angels. I thank god everyday for my little blessings. Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day!
