Can you believe tomorrow is September 1st? Isn't that just crazy? Where did the summer go? Although living in Florida we have another two months, at least, of our summer but I still can't believe that Christmas will be here in FOUR months! Every year I say I am going to start my shopping early and have it finished by November 1st and of course it never happens. And its pretty safe to say it won't be happening this year either. :-(

Camryn's 1st Birthday party is coming super fast! October 2nd is just a month a few days away! I started a few months ago gathering ideas and now I am finally starting to implement them! Everything always sounds so great in your head but when you start putting it together, its like wow what have I gotten myself into. LOL. I really need to create a checklist. It would make things a little bit easier on me, but who knows if I will actually get around to that. Invitations have been ordered, received, addressed.. now they are just waiting on stamps. Oh how I hate the post office! Last night I worked with my friend Kim on a highchair banner and some cute little accents for some decor. Did I tell you how much I love the Cricut? I want one so very bad! That would be a awesome Christmas present from Santa (wink wink). My other friend Dana is coming on Friday to help start on the tissue paper wreaths and tissue paper flowers. I am so excited! I promise I will post pictures and there will be lots of posts about the birthday party progress.

Payten finally did it... She didn't cry when her Daddy dropped her off at school today. Woo hoo! Now lets hope she can keep this up. Because it really breaks his heart to see her cry. Daddy's are such softy's :-)

It's a crazy week around here. Getting things packed for our mini beach vacation, and when I mean things I mean like the ENTIRE house, haha. We figured since its a long weekend we would make it even longer and enjoy a little getaway. I am really looking forward to just hanging out on the beach and relaxing, lets just hope these hurricanes stay away!!!

Did anyone watch the Bachelor Pad last night? I know I am confessing to watching that reality TV junk, but how can you not love people making themselves look like fools? It is pure entertain. Haha. I can not believe Dave went against his word and voted off Krisily. Typical guy not being trustworthy. Ugh! Okay enough about my reality tv addiction. Hope everyone is having a great week!

Good Byes

I thought I disliked good bye's but apparently Payten dislikes them even more. Payten wanted to go for the ride to the airport to drop off Uncle Dave and Aunt Laura. I wasn't sure it was a good idea but she really wanted to. When they were getting out of the car she really didn't want them to go, she kept telling them no bye byes. :-( When they came to visit last year she was too little to understand good bye's but now she knows that they are not fun :-( But Aunt Laura said they are not good bye's they are see ya later :-)

1st Day of Dancing School

This week has been a BIG week for Payten. She started school on Monday for her very first time and today she had her very first dance class. Unlike school drop off's where there are tears, there was not one tear from this little girl this morning. She loved dance class!

The class is an hour and a half long which kind of worried me because that is a long time to hold a 2 1/2 year olds attention but the teacher did it. They danced there little hearts away the entire time. And they looked adorable doing it too! I hope next weeks class goes just as well :-)

Adult Night out with the Cheese Heads

It's Dave & Laura's last night in town and we actually escaped for a adult ONLY night out (thank you to my wonderful friends Dana & Doug) :-)

Laura and I were craving crab legs so we were scoping out all the seafood restaurants to see who had them. Fish Bone won our vote and even gets and A++. They were sooo yummy!

It was so great to spend time with my brother in law and (hopefully) soon to be sister in law (wink wink Dave). Spending this past week with them has been really fun and the girls absolutely loved having them around. They got to share some special first time moments with the girls and us and that means a lot to us. We really wished we all lived closer, maybe one day it will actually happen. Until then... we get to see them and the whole Hogan clan in November! We can't wait!!!

She survived!

She did it! Payten survived her first week of school :-) Even with a few tears every morning after her Daddy dropped her off she still managed to have fun and even brought home some crafts.

I promise there won't be any more daily pictures before school. Believe it or not Payten asked me every morning to have her picture taken. We'll save the pictures for special mornings :-)

If anyone's kiddies starting school this week I hope they had a good one.

A little bit of this and a little bit of that!

We have been enjoying our last couple of days with the hubby's brother, David and his girlfriend Laura. The guys are enjoying their "manly" time of golfing and playing video games, while Laura and I scope out the outlet malls for some good deals :-) The girls are loving having them here. Payten calls Uncle David, "Uncle". It's too cute! I promise pictures of the girls with their uncle and auntie tomorrow.

Day 3 and 4 of school has went pretty well considering. Payten still cries for drop off but within minutes she is better. She brought home her first craft from school. I am sure my refrigerator will be filled with them in no time :-)

Camryn Brooke ~ 10 Months

Camryn Brooke is 10 months old! Well actually 10 months, 2 weeks, and 5 days. I know I am a little late on this post, well actually a lot late but every time I try to take these photos it rains! Grrr Florida weather! I finally gave up on the weather and just tried to work with what I have and of course Camryn wasn't too thrilled, :-( Hopefully she'll be happier for her 11 month photos!
